We Ship Machines Worldwide!

US Shipping & Import Information

Whether you're a café owner, specialty coffee enthusiast, or hospitality professional in the United States, we want to make your purchasing experience as smooth and transparent as possible. Here's everything you need to know about shipping, import duties, and machine certifications before placing your order.

Shipping Costs

Our shipping charge covers FedEx Door-To-Door Freight Only - from our warehouse in Australia directly to your nominated US address. FedEx handles the entire delivery process, ensuring your machine arrives safely and efficiently.

Import Duties, Taxes & Customs Charges

Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges are set by US Customs and Border Protection and are entirely separate from our shipping costs. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer upon arrival of the shipment.

Please be aware of the following:

  • Customs charges vary by state and shipment - unfortunately we are unable to estimate these costs prior to shipping.

  • Our machines are manufactured in Italy and are currently subject to approximately a 15% US Tariff (this rate is variable and subject to change).

  • If you require a detailed breakdown of any customs charges you have received, please contact FedEx directly - we do not receive this information on our end.

We strongly recommend checking with your local customs office or a licensed customs broker before placing your order if you have specific questions about duties applicable to your state.

Our Experience Shipping to the USA

We have been successfully shipping commercial coffee machines to customers across the United States for over seven years and we are well-versed in the export and customs process to ensure a seamless delivery experience.

Machine Certifications

We’re often asked about the certifications applicable to our machines, particularly for commercial use in the United States.

Our La Marzocco machines are CE compliant and are supplied with an EU Declaration of Conformity from La Marzocco, confirming they meet the applicable European safety, electrical and food-contact standards.

You can view the official EU Declaration of Conformity here: Download EU Declaration of Conformity

According to La Marzocco, their machines are also UL and NSF qualified. You can view La Marzocco’s official NSF listings here: La Marzocco NSF Listings.

As our machines are imported directly from Australia, we do not apply UL certification labels ourselves. UL labelling requirements can vary between U.S. states and local authorities, so if a UL label is required for your installation, this will need to be arranged locally through an approved certification body.

If you have specific certification or compliance requirements for your state or venue, we recommend checking with your local health department, building authority or installer before purchasing.
